Community Support
Petrosea actively supports a wide range of community organisations and activities in Indonesia. Preference is given to specific programs that enhance the quality of life, environment and communities in which the Company operates.
In particular, priority is given to initiatives that deliver ongoing broad benefits to:
- education (particularly engineering and construction)
- the environment
- health and safety
- the community.
Petrosea does not support:
- individuals
- interstate or overseas travel
- conferences, except when there is an explicit business link with Petrosea
- religious activities
- projects that duplicate existing Petrosea activities
- projects where there is a conflict of interest.
Requests for assistance are considered against criteria such as:
- Petrosea's current objectives and activities
- ability to meet with shareholder approval
- the ongoing benefits of identified community programs
- whether support has already been provided to the organisation in any given financial year.
